As all of our products are handmade, our focus now is on production in the run up to Christmas, but people often have an incredible knack for ordering the exact colour or style that we don't have in stock! I'm not complaining though, all orders are always greatly appreciated, but if you could put your Christmas hats on for a moment and order early that would be wonderful.

Father's Day is fast approaching here on Sunday June 20th.  I know how hard it can be to buy for men, well my wife and children always tell me I'm hard to buy for! It really doesn't help that I make so many of the typical gifts you would buy for men. Well it doesn't help them, but it might help you,  I've added a few gift ideas below.

Féile na Bealtaine is a special weekend in Dingle and the largest arts festival held on the Dingle Peninsula. Held over the May Bank Holiday weekend it is a celebration of the arrival of summer, celebrating the Celtic festival of Bealtaine. Traditionally in Ireland the year was divided in two and celebrated with the feasts of Bealtaine (May) and Samhain (November). 

 

Most of our bag designs are collaborations between myself and Claire. We set aside some time to work through new ideas and prototype them, usually when we've received the samples of leathers we've selected from our tanneries in Italy.  Working together creatively is one of the aspects I enjoy the most about my work.

Green Friday Ireland is a movement to highlight the value of Small Business in Local Communities. As a small business owner, designer and maker, I am delighted to be part of this campaign.

It is encouraging businesses to focus on how they offer value, experiences, and human connection first to their customers and asking customers to think more consciously about businesses within the community and how we can support them.
